These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("you" or "User") and EngageShield AI ("we", "our", or "us"). By registering for or using EngageShield AI, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
EngageShield AI is a cloud-based platform that connects to your Instagram and Facebook accounts via the Meta Graph API to help you manage, moderate, and respond to comments and direct messages. Features include AI-powered reply suggestions, automated moderation, scheduled replies, and team collaboration tools.
You must be at least 16 years old to use EngageShield AI. By using the service, you represent that you are of legal age and have the authority to bind any business or organisation on whose behalf you are using the platform.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access.
You agree to use EngageShield AI only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:

Your use of EngageShield AI is subject to Meta's Terms of Service and platform policies. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the platform — including the content of replies sent on your behalf — complies with Meta's policies. We are not liable for any action Meta takes against your Facebook Page or Instagram account.
EngageShield AI uses Anthropic's Claude API to generate reply suggestions. All AI-generated content is provided as a suggestion only. You are solely responsible for reviewing and approving replies before they are sent. When auto-send is enabled, you acknowledge that replies will be sent automatically based on your configured rules, and you accept responsibility for that content.
As an account owner, you may invite team members to access your account. You are responsible for the actions of all team members operating under your account. You must ensure that team members are authorised by your organisation and comply with these Terms.
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. The platform may be unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or factors outside our control (including Meta API outages). We are not liable for any losses arising from service downtime or interruptions.
Access to EngageShield AI may require a paid subscription. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and cancellation terms will be displayed at the time of purchase. All fees are non-refundable unless otherwise required by applicable law. We reserve the right to change pricing with reasonable notice to registered users.
All rights, title, and interest in the EngageShield AI platform — including software, design, and branding — remain our exclusive property. You retain ownership of your content (messages, replies, and configuration data). By using the platform, you grant us a limited licence to process your content solely to provide the service.
Our collection and use of your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms, fail to pay applicable fees, or if we are required to do so by law. Upon termination, your access to the platform will cease and your data will be deleted in accordance with our Data Deletion Policy.
EngageShield AI is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the platform will meet your specific requirements, that AI-generated replies will be accurate or appropriate, or that the service will be free from errors or security vulnerabilities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EngageShield AI and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of revenue, data, or business — arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the three months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless EngageShield AI and its operators from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your content, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which EngageShield AI operates. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
